I am here, just busy. Here’s what you’ve missed:

  • Photo sessions with 2 cuties.
  • Getting my kids ready to start school, shopping for school clothes, school supplies, haircuts etc…

  • Getting myself ready for my new job, shopping for work attire and shoes, haircut and color, etc…

So far the job is going well. I have lots of things to learn about.  Annuities, 401(K) plans, IRA plans, paper jams, errand running, health insurance, life insurance…yadda yadda yadda. All things financial and retirement-ish… I am working about 30 hours a week right now, until I am fully trained. Then the title of my position will be “Pension Specialist” – I get to do all the leg work for the companies who have plans with our Boss.  This dude does a LOT of stuff and he still finds time to hunt like nobody’s business judging from the taxidermy hanging in his office.  I even get to have massages every other week and get paid for it.  And we get to watch soaps at lunch! It’s funny. I don’t watch soaps, but the other girls all do and we eat “family style” for breakfast and lunch so I am subjected to the wacky drama.

Oh, and Chad and I have also been busy playing with our new kick ass Scrabble board! Gone are the days of lifting the tiles to find out if they’re double or triples because they’re walled in and have color codes, AND turning the board is a breeze with the WHEELS on the bottom! It rocks. Check this baby out. There’s storage drawers under it too!

Anyways, that’s all I’ve been up too!

The things we touch have no permanence. My master would say: there is nothing we can hold onto in this world. Only by letting go can we truly possess what is real. -Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
